zhen (J-EH-N) is a Chinese word meaning “pure” or “truth.”
Our mission at zhenroot is to support your natural lifestyle by providing herb and essential oil based home and health remedies, as alternatives to toxic, chemical-based products. We hope to serve as a knowledge source, where you can learn about the “pure” or “true” healing powers of herbs, plants, and essential oils found in our products.

Meet the Owner
Meet Cary Strycker, the creator of zhenroot.
Her journey into the world of herbal remedies began in 2018 when she enrolled in an Herbal Studies Program. The knowledge she gained ignited a passion for harnessing nature's healing potential. She started by creating remedies for friends and family and witnessed the transformative effects from the simplest of ingredients. What began as a personal hobby turned into a passion for crafting herbal tinctures, salves, and room sprays. Cary’s commitment to non-toxic, plant-based solutions became the driving force behind zhenroot.
She hopes to continue spreading the word about the powerful healing qualities of herbs. You can always contact Cary with custom requests or questions.
